Xiaomi has added two budget 4G handsets to its Indian lineup after the recent A7 Pro 5G debut. The standard Redmi A7 carries a 6.88‑inch LCD, while the A7 Pro grows to 6.9 inches; both screens run at 120 Hz with HD+ resolution and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. They share the Unisoc T7250 processor, up to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Camera hardware stays identical across the pair: a 13 MP rear shooter paired with an 8 MP front lens. Battery capacity diverges, with the base model packing 5,200 mAh and the Pro version stepping up to 6,300 mAh, both supporting 15 W wired and 7.5 W reverse charging. Additional touches include a side‑mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm jack, IP52 splash resistance and dual‑SIM capability.

Pricing lands the A7 at ₹10,499 (~$112) in Black or Sky Blue, while the A7 Pro 4G costs ₹11,499 (~$123) in Sunset Orange or Black. Both run Xiaomi’s HyperOS; the base model gets two years of OS upgrades and four years of patches, the Pro version receives four years of OS updates and six years of support. Sales begin April 24 through Xiaomi and Flipkart.
