Xiaomi's Redmi A7 Pro 5G has launched in India as the company's first Pro model in its budget A-series lineup. The phone features a massive 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness, powered by the Unisoc T8300 chipset with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.

The camera setup includes a 32MP primary rear sensor and an 8MP front camera for selfies. A 6,300mAh battery provides extended usage with 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging support. The device runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 with an impressive promise of 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.

Additional features include IP52 rating, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 5G SIM support, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. The phone comes in Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange colors, priced at INR 11,499 ($125) for the 4GB/64GB variant and INR 12,499 ($135) for the 4GB/128GB model, with sales beginning April 15.
