Earlier today, Redmi unveiled the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro in China. The former carries the model number 26021 RN18C. Meanwhile, the latest Hyper OS firmware build references a Poco M8 Power, which bears the model number 26021 PC18I. "RN" stands for Redmi, "PC" for Poco, and the last character indicates the intended region – "C" for China, "I" for India. With these clues, it appears the Poco M8 Power is set for the Indian market, though it could also reach other regions.

Based on its numbering, the Poco M8 Power is almost certainly a rebranded Chinese Redmi Note 17. Xiaomi frequently markets identical devices under different sub‑brands in the same market, so the Indian and global variants may share specs with the Chinese model. If true, the device will feature a 7‑inch 1080x2396 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800‑nit peak brightness, powered by a Snapdragon_CM4 Gen 4 SoC, 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and an 8,000‑mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.

In short, the Poco M8 Power looks poised to bring the Redmi Note 17’s spec set to India, with a likely launch date soon after its Chinese debut.
