A recent rumor suggested Poco would soon launch the X8 Power with a massive battery, and now a tipster on X has shared purported marketing materials for both the Poco X8 and the long-awaited X8 Power. These appear to be rebrand jobs. Specifically, the X8 seems to be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro, while the X8 Power may be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. Differences are minimal. According to the slides, the X8 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 3,500-nit peak brightness, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 9,000 m Ah battery supporting 67W wired charging. It runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and boasts comprehensive IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust resistance.

The Poco X8 Power shares nearly identical display and main camera specs but adds an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 32MP selfie shooter, and a 10,000 m Ah battery with 100W wired charging. Both devices will receive four major OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The leak source indicates the phones will launch in India by early September. They are expected to undercut the Poco X8 Pro in price, signaling an imminent release for budget-conscious consumers seeking flagship-level durability.
