Huawei has introduced two new premium smartwatches, refining its unique hybrid concept with the Huawei Watch Buds 2 and launching an ultra-luxurious Huawei Watch Ultimate Star Diamond Edition. The Watch Buds 2 maintains the innovative design of its predecessor, housing true wireless earbuds inside a smartwatch case, but now features a lighter titanium alloy frame and slimmer profile at just 14.7mm thick.

The Watch Buds 2 offers three color options including a titanium variant and retains the clever flip-up display that reveals wireless earbuds. While the buds themselves are IP54 rated, the watch lacks water resistance, limiting use during swimming or showering. The 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display delivers impressive brightness up to 3,000 nits, and the device promises three days of battery life including earbud charging. Health features include sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and over 90 sports modes with AI performance analysis.

At the luxury end, the Watch Ultimate Star Diamond Edition takes the already premium Ultimate 2 and adds extensive diamond embellishments, including 60 diamond-cut facets on the sapphire crystal and 98 natural diamonds on the chassis. This blinged-out version starts at CNY 30,000 (approximately USD 4,400) and includes advanced health sensors, car key functionality, and emergency response features.
