On Tuesday, Huawei opened its global market to the Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro, following a February launch in China. Consumers can now buy the devices from the Huawei Store worldwide. The entry‑level Watch Fit 5 starts at £159.99, while the premium Pro model lists for £249.99.

Customers who purchase either watch before June 21 receive a £30 discount coupon, a free strap, and a Huawei Scale 3. The Watch Fit 5 also includes Multipass access, granting up to three months of free premium sports subscriptions for Huawei Health+, Komoot, and Urunn, plus discounts on audio gear such as the FreeClip 2 and FreeArc.

Huawei also released the Watch GT Runner 2 – Racing Legend Edition – in the UK at £349.99, targeting serious runners. Meanwhile, the Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition, priced at £3,499, showcases 99 natural diamonds and a diamond‑cut sapphire crystal, positioning it as a luxury statement piece rather than a fitness gadget.

The staggered pricing strategy signals Huawei's attempt to capture both budget‑conscious fitness enthusiasts and high‑end consumers seeking status symbols. By bundling health subscriptions and accessories, the company adds perceived value, while the diamond‑laden edition underscores a shift toward premium wearables. These moves reflect Huawei's broader strategy to diversify its smartwatch portfolio amid stiff competition from Apple, Garmin, and Fitbit.
