At Cannes Film Festival, DJI unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4P, a specialized version of their Pocket 4 camera designed specifically for professional, independent filmmakers. While the standard Pocket 4 targets mainstream creators, this new model aims to replace cumbersome filmmaking equipment with its compact yet powerful hardware.

The 4P features an enhanced sensor capturing wider dynamic range, improved zoom capabilities for better portrait shots, and advanced color reproduction algorithms for accurate skin tones. It also supports 10-bit D-Log2 color profiles, enabling professional-grade color grading and delivering superior detail in nighttime and indoor scenes.

DJI hasn't specified a release date for the Pocket 4P, though the camera will integrate with their existing ecosystem of accessories for enhanced stabilization and audio capabilities. This specialized targeting positions DJI to capture more of the professional filmmaking market with a compact solution that maintains high production values.
