The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P introduces a dual-lens system, featuring a primary 20mm f/2.0 wide-angle with a 1-inch sensor and a new 60mm f/1.8 medium telephoto with a 1/1.28-inch sensor. This provides 3x optical zoom, up to 6x in-sensor zoom, and 12x digital zoom. The camera captures 4K video at up to 240 fps and 37-megapixel stills. DJI claims 17 stops of dynamic range from the primary camera when shooting in the 10-bit D-Log 2 profile, potentially offering class-leading performance in challenging lighting. The device retains the 2-inch OLED touchscreen and 103GB of internal storage from its predecessor.

While the dual-lens system is a significant upgrade, the transition between lenses can result in minor shifts in exposure or color. Zoom control via the joystick can also be less intuitive than a dedicated slider. The D-Log 2 profile, which unlocks the full dynamic range, disables zoom and slow-motion recording, and caps ISO at 3,200. Despite these limitations, the Pocket 4P delivers excellent image quality with natural colors and impressive low-light performance, rivaling more expensive cameras. The 1,545mAh battery offers approximately 200-220 minutes of varied use.
