Samsung launched the Galaxy A37 in March, and its successor, the Galaxy A38, will reportedly feature a significant battery upgrade. According to a new leak, the A38 will have a rated capacity of 5,882 mAh, translating to a typical 6,000 mAh battery. This represents a 20% increase over the 5,000 mAh unit in the A37 and would make it the largest battery ever in a Galaxy A phone sold in Europe.

Notably, the upgrade will not use silicon-carbon technology. Beyond the battery, the A38 is expected to be a minor update, retaining the same camera setup as its predecessor: a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 12MP selfie camera. This configuration would mark the third consecutive model with this exact arrangement, following the A36 and A37.

While the Galaxy A58 is also expected to receive a similar battery boost, possibly using the same cell, pricing is anticipated to rise further, with the A38 potentially reaching close to €500.
