A well-known Chinese tipster has leaked details about the Redmi Turbo 6 Max's display, calling it a true flagship screen. The phone is expected to feature a flat 7-inch panel with 2K resolution and a buttery-smooth 185Hz refresh rate. It will use LIPO packaging to shrink the bottom bezel, resulting in uniform 1mm borders on all sides.
The display is also rumored to have large rounded corners, BT.2020 color support, and a high-brightness, low-power substrate. This would be a significant upgrade over the Turbo 5 Max, which has a 6.83-inch 1280x2772 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 7-inch size and 2K resolution were first rumored in July, but the 185Hz refresh rate and 1mm bezels are new details.
The same tipster previously said the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset and pack a battery of over 10,000 mAh. Since the Turbo 5 Max went global as the Poco X8 Pro Max, it's likely the Turbo 6 Max will follow suit as the Poco X9 Pro Max.
