DJI Osmo Pocket 4P Brings Dual Cameras to Pocket Gimbal Line

DJI has officially teased its upcoming Osmo Pocket 4P, a pocket-sized gimbal featuring dual cameras for both wide and portrait shooting. The device pairs a wide lens with a 1-inch sensor alongside a 3x zoom lens, marking a significant upgrade over the standard Pocket 4. The company plans to launch the Osmo Pocket 4P in 2026, targeting "advanced creators who demand more from their cinematic visual storytelling."

Leaked specifications reveal impressive capabilities: the device will support 4K recording at up to 240 fps, deliver 14 stops of dynamic range with 10-bit D-Log color, and incorporate Hasselblad tuning. It includes a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, updated ActiveTrack stabilization, a flip-out touchscreen, and up to 128GB of built-in storage. Pricing will likely exceed the Pocket 4 significantly, and availability in the US remains uncertain.

The regulatory outlook complicates things for American consumers. DJI is currently appealing its inclusion on the FCC's covered list, which was imposed in February 2026. The company argues the process lacked proper due process, and the FCC will seek public input on whether to grant this appeal by May 11, 2026.
