Apple's iPhone 17e is now available, starting at €700/£600/INR 64,900 for 256GB of storage - double the base storage of last year's 16e at the same price. The phone comes with a braided USB-C cable and SIM tool in the box. This pricing strategy gives buyers more storage without increasing the cost.

The biggest upgrade is MagSafe support, finally bringing the budget iPhone in line with the rest of the lineup. The 17e also features Apple's new A19 chip with a 4-core GPU and the latest C1X modem for improved connectivity. At just under 170 grams, the phone feels light and comfortable in hand, with a second-generation Ceramic Shield display for added durability.

Other specs remain largely unchanged: a 4,005mAh battery with doubled wireless charging to 15W, a 48MP main camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera with autofocus. While the upgrades may seem modest, the iPhone 17e's appeal likely lies in its value proposition - offering modern features like MagSafe and the latest processor at an accessible price point for both upgraders and switchers from other platforms.
