Xiaomi has launched the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in China, featuring Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Extreme chips respectively. Both devices sport triple 200MP camera setups, including a 23mm equivalent main shooter, 75mm periscope telephoto with 3.2x optical zoom, and 50MP ultrawide lens covering 102 degrees field of view.

The phones feature 2K LTPO AMOLED displays with 1-120Hz refresh rates—6.4 inches on the 18 Pro and 6.9 inches on the 18 Pro Max—both rated at 4,000 nits peak brightness. New hardware-level privacy screens offer location-based triggers and block notifications, floating windows, and split-view apps. The rear screens enable custom AI mini apps via Xiao AI assistant, including water reminder and cooking timers.

Battery upgrades include 7,000mAh on the 18 Pro and 8,500mAh on the 18 Pro Max, with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Both run Xiaomi Hyper OS 4 with IP69 protection. Pricing starts at CNY 5,999 ($895) for the 18 Pro and CNY 6,999 ($1,045) for the 18 Pro Max in 12/256GB configurations.

Xiaomi confirmed a global launch later this year.
