Warner Bros. Games is bringing Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight to Nintendo’s Switch 2 on September 18. The title, which holds Metacritic scores above 84 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, finally reaches a platform previously omitted. Two SKUs arrive: Standard Edition at $70 and Deluxe Edition for $90, bundling the base game with the Legacy Collection DLC and the new Mayhem Collection.

Pre‑orders grant every buyer a Dark Knight Returns Batsuit skin, while Deluxe purchasers also snag three days of early access. The Mayhem Collection adds a Joker‑Harley Quinn co‑op mode, a fresh story mission, extra Batman suits, new Batcave items and a revamped Batmobile. Existing owners can upgrade to the Deluxe content for $25.

Launching on Switch 2 expands Lego Batman’s reach into Nintendo’s growing install base, giving the franchise its first handheld debut and potentially boosting sales after strong critical reception. With physical Deluxe copies including a limited‑run Lego Retro Video Game Batman minifigure, Warner Bros. Games is betting on collector appeal to drive early demand.

September 18 also sees the Mayhem Collection debut on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, synchronizing Nintendo’s launch with the rest of the ecosystem. Simultaneous releases reduce fragmentation and signal Warner Bros. Games’ commitment to treating Switch 2 as a first‑class platform rather than an afterthought.
