Lego's collaboration with Nintendo continues with the new 1,371-piece Lego Donkey Kong Arcade set. This playable replica of the classic arcade cabinet is designed for adult fans and features a working lever to release barrels and a joystick to control Jumpman (Mario's original name). Players can make Jumpman jump over obstacles, mimicking the original game's mechanics.

The set meticulously recreates the iconic scaffold and ladders from the first level of Donkey Kong, featuring Jumpman, the original DK, and "Lady" (later Pauline). A look at the back reveals a working barrel-shifting mechanism. This intricate build follows Lego's previous successful interactive sets, like the Pac-Man arcade.

The $200 Lego Donkey Kong Arcade is available for pre-order and will launch on August 1st.
