Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair Program to include parts for its March 2026 product lineup, making components available for the iPhone 17e, MacBook Neo, and other recent devices. The program update on Wednesday adds replacement parts for the iPhone 17e, M5 MacBook Air, M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro, M4 iPad Air, and updated Apple Studio Display models.

The Self Service Repair Store now offers replacement batteries, displays, keyboards, speakers, trackpads, and other components for these devices. Repair manuals are also accessible through the same platform, providing detailed instructions for DIY repairs. The program, which launched in April 2022 in select countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and European Union nations, has gradually expanded to support more Apple products over time.

This expansion comes as Apple continues to improve its repairability efforts. The MacBook Neo represents a significant shift in design philosophy, featuring screw-held batteries and keyboards instead of glued components found in current MacBook Air and Pro models. This makes the budget laptop one of Apple's most repairable products since 2012, though critics argue these changes still fall short of comprehensive right-to-repair demands.
