Xreal's Aura smart glasses have exceeded early demand expectations, with reservations surpassing 10,000 units since launching in June. The company revealed two reservation packages have already sold out, including the Founder Priority Pass and Launch Credit options. CEO and co-founder Chi Xu commented, "Surpassing 10,000 reservations is an exciting signal of demand across consumers, developers, and enterprise partners."

The final retail price will be "no more than $1,500 before tax," with current reservations available through a Priority Deposit option for $199. The Aura is expected to launch this fall featuring Google's Android XR and Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite.

Designed to be lightweight at under 95g with a 70-degree field of view, the Aura supports Google Play Store access and will include exclusive content like Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars and Fallout: Factions. Xreal also announced Best Buy as its first retail partner for in-store availability.
