Xreal unveiled its Aura smart glasses, running Google’s Android XR platform on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Reality Elite chip. Weighing under 95 g, the device offers a 70‑degree field of view and world‑facing sensors for hand‑tracking and six‑degree‑of‑freedom motion. The company markets the hardware as a “premium spatial computing experience” aimed at both work and entertainment.

Android XR unlocks the Google Play Store, letting users install Android mobile and tablet apps directly onto the glasses. Xreal promises over one hundred XR‑specific titles, with early teasers including the Fox Sports XR live‑sports feed, the piano tutor Simply Piano XR, and the collaborative design tool Shapes XR. Game developers confirmed Fallout: Factions and Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars will launch later this year.

Consumers can reserve an Aura for $99 starting June 15, receiving a $199 launch credit and priority shipping when the unit ships in fall through Best Buy. The reservation includes a Founder Priority Pass for the first 2,000 buyers, granting early‑access support and a numbered special‑edition frame. With its lightweight form factor and Android ecosystem, the Aura positions itself as a true competitor to emerging AR headsets.
