The first episode of Dark Matter season 2 is now streaming on Apple TV. The sci-fi thriller returns more than two years after its first season concluded, offering a new 10-episode run.

Starring Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, and Alice Braga, Dark Matter follows a physicist in Chicago who is abducted and wakes up in an alternate version of his life. The series is based on Blake Crouch's 2016 novel of the same name and earned an Emmy nomination last year for Outstanding Title Design.

Season two picks up with the Dessen family settling into a quiet life in a seemingly safe world, until unexpected forces force them to run again. As Jason's obsession with the Box deepens, Daniela's growing paranoia pushes her to the brink, while their son Charlie struggles for stability. Meanwhile, Amanda and Ryan join forces in a desperate attempt to find their way home.
