Apple TV is delivering a strong sci-fi lineup with two major series currently airing and several new premieres on the horizon. For All Mankind just launched its seventh season, shifting the alt-history space drama to the 2010s with a Mars-focused storyline. Meanwhile, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters continues its Godzilla and Kong universe adventure, with new episodes releasing weekly through May 1.

Both shows have proven successful enough for Apple to greenlight spinoffs. The next big premiere is Star City, a Soviet-perspective spinoff to For All Mankind launching May 29. Starring Rhys Ifans, it promises a high-stakes thriller vibe. Following shortly is Sugar, Colin Farrell's noir detective series with sci-fi elements, returning for season 2 on June 19.

Apple TV+ also expects to release Dark Matter season 2 this summer, though no official date has been announced. Star Joel Edgerton previously indicated a mid-2026 release, while showrunner Blake Crouch confirmed filming wrapped last summer with six months of post-production planned. At $12.99 per month or through the Apple One bundle, the service continues building momentum for genre fans while they await new seasons of hits like Severance and Pluribus.
