Apple officially launched its consolidated enterprise offering, now branded simply as Apple Business. This new platform replaces the previous Business Essentials suite, delivering a free package aimed at organizational management. The unification effort positions Apple more directly against established productivity suites from rivals in the business software space.

Version 2.0 of the core Business app features a visual refresh, including a new Liquid Glass icon, and introduces a practical directory function. This new directory feature intends to simplify internal operations by allowing employees to easily locate and connect with colleagues across the organization, improving immediate communication flows.

Expanding accessibility for its spatial computing ambitions, the updated application now incorporates support for the Apple Vision Pro. This marks the first time the enterprise management tool is accessible natively on Apple's newest hardware platform. The application continues to function across existing devices like iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Making the platform free signals a clear strategy shift to lower the barrier to entry for small and medium businesses adopting Apple's integrated device management tools. Moving Business Essentials to a zero-cost tier should drive wider adoption among organizations already invested in the Apple ecosystem.
