Apple officially rolled out its new, unified Apple Business platform, combining functionalities previously scattered across separate offerings like Apple Business Essentials and Manager. This move aims to provide organizations with a single pane of glass for managing device deployment, employee communication, and customer engagement across the entire Apple ecosystem.

Device management capabilities are central, featuring MDM tools and a simple "Blueprints" option for zero-touch configuration of new hardware. Furthermore, the platform introduces Managed Apple Accounts, which ensure cryptographic separation between personal and work data, potentially reducing the need for employees to juggle multiple devices for professional tasks.

Beyond device control, Apple Business integrates essential services like email and directories linked to custom domains. Businesses gain new customer engagement tools, allowing them to manage brand presentation across Safari, Siri, and Apple Maps. This integration extends to new advertising opportunities within Maps, starting this summer in the U.S. and Canada.

The service itself is free, though add-ons for extra iCloud space or AppleCare+ are optional; however, the companion app and email features necessitate iOS 26 or later. This consolidation clearly signals Apple's intent to streamline its enterprise offerings, replacing the older, fragmented services entirely.
