A tribunal has determined that Liverpool must pay Chelsea a minimum of £2.8 million for winger Rio Ngumoha. The 17-year-old moved from Chelsea's academy in September 2024. He then signed his first professional contract with Liverpool a year later.

The payment covers his training and development while with the Blues, with potential add-ons based on performance.
