Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan discussed investment and the club's future in New York, highlighting a "super difficult year" but emphasizing continued growth. FSG is in talks for a minority investment with a consortium led by Amit Bhatia, which could value the club at over £4.5bn. Hogan stressed that this is not a sign of FSG stepping away, but rather an opportunity to "continue to grow." He noted the club's strong financial position, with the highest revenue in the Premier League at £702m, and that all investment goes back into the club for sustainable operation.

Despite a disappointing on-pitch performance last season and significant personnel changes, including a new coach, Hogan conveyed a message of stability, stating the club is in a "very healthy place." He acknowledged the need for transition in football but believes Liverpool's leadership and model remain steady. Increased focus is also being placed on the women's team, with investments in facilities and the squad.

Hogan reflected on FSG's stewardship since acquiring the club for £300m in 2010, transforming Anfield and leaving the club in a strong financial position, a stark contrast to its near-bankruptcy before their takeover. He expressed pride in the club's ability to win trophies and create memorable experiences for supporters, aiming for Liverpool to be the best in the world.
