Fenway Sports Group (FSG), owner of the Boston Red Sox, is reportedly in discussions to sell a minority stake in English Premier League club Liverpool Football Club. A consortium, reportedly led by investor Amit Bhatia and including the family behind steel giant Arcelor Mittal, has expressed interest in acquiring a "strategic minority investment."

Details of any potential transaction remain undecided. However, one source familiar with the matter indicated that the club could be valued between $6 billion and $7 billion. This valuation aligns with a Forbes estimate from May, which placed Liverpool at $6.2 billion.

This move comes as other major soccer clubs also command significant valuations, with Spain's Real Madrid estimated by Forbes to be the world's most valuable at $9.5 billion. The outcome of these discussions is still pending.
