Newly promoted Women's Super League club Crystal Palace have secured the signing of Tottenham defender Molly Bartrip for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old defender has agreed to a three-year deal, reuniting with former Spurs captain Bethany England, who is also a summer arrival for Palace.

Bartrip brings significant experience to Crystal Palace, having spent five years at Tottenham, where she made over 100 appearances. She was vice-captain in 2023 and played in every game during the 2024–25 season, subsequently signing a three-year contract extension. Bartrip was also part of the Tottenham squad that reached the Women's FA Cup final for the first time in 2024. Her arrival, along with England and WSL 2 top scorer Lexi Lloyd-Smith, bolsters Palace's squad as they return to the WSL following their second-placed finish last season.
