The GitHub repository chrislgarry/Apollo-11 hosts the original Apollo 11 Guidance Computer (AGC) source code for the Command Module (Comanche055) and Lunar Module (Luminary099). Digitized by Virtual AGC and the MIT Museum, the repository aims to preserve the authentic 1969 code.

Comanche055 (Colossus 2A) was assembled on April 1, 1969, while Luminary099 (Luminary 1A) was assembled on July 14, 1969. The code was transcribed from hardcopy scans by Paul Fjeld, arranged by Deborah Douglas. The project operated under NASA contract NAS 9-4065 with MIT's Instrumentation Laboratory.

Key approvals include Margaret H. Hamilton as Colossus Programming Leader, alongside directors Daniel J. Lickly, Fred H. Martin, Norman E. Sears, Richard H. Battin, David G. Hoag, and Ralph R. Ragan, all signing off on March 28, 1969. The source is public domain; contributions are welcome via CONTRIBUTING.md.
