Big Money Contracts

The Rams and All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie reached agreement on a record four-year, $124 million extension that includes $100 million guaranteed, sources told Schefter. The Jaguars locked up cornerback Montaric "Buster" Brown with a three-year, $33 million deal, his agents said. The Texans retained guard Ed Ingram on a three-year, $37.5 million contract to keep him from hitting free agency, according to ESPN and NFL Network.

Quarterback Moves

The Dolphins will release quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after the new league year begins, creating an NFL-record $99 million in dead money. The Bengals are not tendering restricted free agent quarterback Jake Browning, who started 10 games over three seasons backing up Joe Burrow, a source told Jeremy Fowler.

Defensive Reinforcements

The Steelers are re-signing cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. to a one-year, $4 million deal, a source told Fowler. The Vikings kept linebacker Eric Wilson with a three-year, $22.5 million contract agreed upon Sunday ahead of free agency, according to NFL Network. The Broncos and linebacker Justin Strnad agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal with $10 million guaranteed, a source confirmed.

Offensive Line Stability

The Packers brought back versatile lineman Sean Rhyan on a three-year, $33 million deal, his agents told ESPN. The Chargers added fullback Alec Ingold, reuniting him with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel on a new contract. The Cardinals and Pro Bowl running back James Conner agreed to a revised contract to keep him in Arizona for 2026, according to NFL Network.
