NVIDIA's RTX 6000D 84GB graphics card has been torn down by Chinese vlogger GINNSOD, revealing a trade-restricted design for the Chinese market. The passively-cooled card features 84GB of GDDR7 memory on a 448-bit bus, slightly reduced from the 96GB Western variant. The GB202-891-KA-A1 GPU die powers the card with 19,968 shader units and a 2,430MHz boost clock.

A Bilibili teardown video shows the dense PCB layout with 28 individual 3GB memory chips arranged in a clamshell design. The reference board lists a 600W TDP rating, though testing showed only 419W power consumption. The design closely resembles the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell model but leaves four VRAM slots empty, suggesting deliberate specification adjustments to comply with trade restrictions.

Chinese system integrator GINNSOD offers aftermarket liquid cooling solutions for the card and lists a ~$26,000 workstation system featuring dual RTX 6000D cards paired with an AMD Threadripper Pro CPU. The RTX 6000D represents NVIDIA's continued navigation of export controls, following similar region-specific GPU modifications over the past two years. Despite reduced specifications compared to Western models, the card delivers substantial performance for Chinese AI companies and high-end PC enthusiasts.
