BIOSTAR introduces the EdgeComp MT-N150, a compact edge computing system for intelligent security, surveillance, and smart city applications. With support for AI acceleration from NPU partners, it allows system integrators to choose an accelerator platform for their AI workload. Applications include facial recognition, crowd monitoring, fire detection, PPE detection, and license plate recognition.

Powered by the Intel Twin Lake N150 quad-core processor up to 3.6 GHz with a 6W power profile, the system delivers efficient computing for edge applications. Support for AI acceleration from DEEPX and MemryX enables project teams to select the best accelerator. Processing AI at the edge reduces reliance on centralized processing.

Measuring 196.5 x 193 x 45 mm, the MT-N150 is designed for limited spaces. It supports DDR5 memory up to 16 GB, SATA III, M.2 NVMe, and wide-range 9-24V DC or USB-C PD power. Connectivity includes M.2 for 4G/5G, Wi-Fi/BT, and dual GbE LAN. Three display outputs via HDMI and USB-C.
