Microsoft unveiled the next generation of Surface for Business devices, positioning them as AI‑ready workstations for enterprises facing tighter security demands and rising AI workloads. The lineup adds a Surface Pro for Business and two Surface Laptop for Business models, all powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips. Flagstar’s CTO praised the integrated security and on‑device AI capabilities across industries.

The 13‑inch Surface Laptop for Business starts at $1,499 MSRP, offering 16 GB or 24 GB of RAM and a removable Gen 4 SSD for enterprise serviceability. A larger 13.8‑inch and 15‑inch variant begins at $1,949.99, featuring a haptic touchpad, optional privacy screen, and up to 23 hours of battery life. Intel claims up to 35 % more graphics performance than the MacBook Air M5, delivering power for demanding creative tasks.

Beyond raw specs, Microsoft ties the hardware to its Secured‑core PC platform, delivering chip‑to‑cloud protection and firmware updates via Windows Update. An integrated privacy screen, available on select 13.8‑inch models, can be toggled with a keystroke, giving IT teams centralized control. These devices aim to let companies run AI at the edge without sacrificing mobility or security in today’s hybrid work era.
