Microsoft updated four Surface devices with new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips, including the Surface Pro 13 and three Surface Laptop variants. The company introduced enhanced displays with privacy screens on the 13.8-inch and 15-inch models, though the flagship 15-inch remains LCD-only. OLED versions are expected to arrive in coming months.

The mid-range Surface Laptop 13-inch now features an anti-reflective display priced at $1,499, with a lower-cost $1,299 variant in development. Business-focused models begin at $1,949 with Intel Core Ultra 5 chips and 16GB RAM. Microsoft attributes price increases to rising component costs, while the commercial iterations will launch alongside OLED versions later this summer.

Microsoft differentiated the Surface Pro from the Laptop line by omitting the new haptic feedback touchpad on the Pro model. All devices currently use Intel processors, though Snapdragon X2-powered versions are planned for later this year. The updates reflect Microsoft's strategy to maintain its premium positioning in the competitive laptop market.
