KIOXIA XG10 Series SSDs bring PCIe 5.0 speeds to OEM PCs with up to 14,000 MB/s sequential read and 12,000 MB/s write. Compared to the XG8 Series they replace, these drives offer up to 2x sequential read, more than 2x sequential write, and roughly 122% better random read performance. They target AI PCs, workstations, and gaming systems where throughput matters.

The drives hit 2,000 KIOPS random read and 1,600 KIOPS random write, supporting content creation, private AI workloads, and immersive gaming. Available in 512 GB to 4 TB capacities with NVMe 2.0d compliance and SED support, the XG10 is sampling now with shipments to OEMs expected Q2 2026.

The XG10 Series marks KIOXIA's push into the PCIe 5.0 client market as OEMs race to integrate faster storage into next-gen PCs. Showcased at Dell Technologies World in May, the SSDs position KIOXIA to compete with Samsung and SK Hynix for a share of high-performance PC storage orders.
