Keychron has broadened its Ultra‑Fast Lime magnetic switch family with three new Hall‑effect options: the tactile Banana and Silent Banana switches, plus a Silent Red linear variant. All three arrive in a 110‑switch pack priced at $29.99, undercutting comparable magnetic tactile sets that top $70 for fewer units. The additions give Hall‑effect keyboards a rare tactile choice for competitive play and custom builds in demanding rigs.

Each switch shares a 3.5 mm travel distance, pre‑lubed stems and N‑pole magnet layouts compatible with most HE boards, including Wooting and Keychron’s own HE 8K series. Actuation starts at 30 gf; the Lime and Silent Red models bottom out at 55 gf, while both Banana variants finish at 50 gf, offering a slightly lighter feel, making them suitable for fast typists.

The Silent Red linear switch achieves quiet bottom‑outs through silicone buffers on its side rails, whereas the Silent Banana relies on a circlip to dampen the tactile bump. Neither solution is completely silent, but both prioritize a muted thock that suits gamers seeking precision without excessive noise. Keychron’s pricing and compatibility make these switches a compelling upgrade for existing HE setups, future‑proofing keyboards for enthusiasts.
