GTA 6 could require approximately 210 GB of storage on PlayStation 5, according to data from the PlayStation Store backend. This estimate includes a $79.99 Standard Edition with pre-loading starting November 12 and a midnight release on November 19. While Insider Gaming has corroborated the figure, Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed the size.
If accurate, the 210 GB install would consume nearly a third of the base PS5's 667 GB available storage. Physical copies ship with a download code rather than a disc. The Xbox Series X|S installation size remains unannounced.
An earlier claim from leaker Cyberleek suggested the development build exceeded 200 GB, though these typically include extra assets. The PC version is reportedly delayed until Q1 2027. Console players are advised to clear space or consider an M.2 storage expansion before pre-loading begins on November 12.
