ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the availability of the Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace and Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace, expanding the Ace esports monitor range with OLED options. Designed with direct input from professional players, these 24.5-inch monitors use a TrueBlack Glossy Tandem WOLED panel with a 0.02 ms (GTG) response time, 1700 nits peak brightness, 99.5% DCI-P3 color gamut and true 10-bit color, setting a new benchmark in the esports monitor category defined by TN panels for decades. Pro-focused features include measurement scales on the stand and base, a Quick OSD menu, Hue Optimizer and three Esports Color Modes to help dial in their setups. The flagship PG259QWS Ace, the official monitor of PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026, pushes refresh rates to 720 Hz and includes the exclusive Position Sensor and DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) connectivity. Meanwhile, XG259QWPG Ace gives players an identical OLED esports experience at 540 Hz.
Changing the rules of the game
For decades, TN panels have been the default choice for competitive play, trading color, contrast and viewing angles for raw speed. With the Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace and Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace, ROG—the world's No.1 OLED gaming monitor brand—removes that compromise. Self-lit OLED pixels switch almost instantly, delivering motion clarity without sacrificing brightness or relying on backlight strobing technology. Because each pixel produces its own light, there is no backlight blooming, so contrast, color and black levels stay consistent across the entire panel, This reduces flicker for more comfortable viewing experiences versus traditional LCD monitors. The result is a new benchmark for esports professionals: faster, clearer, more consistent visuals that let players see more, react faster and unlock their full potential. In addition, the monitors include Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology to take motion clarity to the next level.[](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/m5Z3VwFpimElV9nC.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/oIALjV6QAsDPA3GC.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/oHc1RlM5TcCqtrDu.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/aVQyIZumHVdauvy8.jpg) [](https://www.techpowerup.com/img/wm1RnaoMdbWoK3mk.jpg)Read full story
