GMKtec unveiled new AI‑focused mini PC workstations at an AliExpress event in Shenzhen, continuing its EVO‑T2 line that debuted in March during Intel’s Core Ultra launch. The flagship EVO‑T2S centers on Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H, a 16‑core chip capable of 180 TOPS of AI compute. Paired with LPDDR5X‑8533 RAM and a vapor‑chamber cooler, the unit targets local LLM inference alongside high‑end desktop use.

On the AMD side, GMKtec re‑introduces the EVO‑X2 series built around the Ryzen AI Max+ 395. The 16‑core, 32‑thread processor houses an XDNA 2 NPU rated at 126 TOPS, supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X, and offers 10 GbE networking. Its design accommodates both AI workloads and GPU‑accelerated tasks, delivering four 4K displays for immersive multitasking and enterprise applications with robust graphics performance on a single board.

Pricing adjustments reflect the market shift. The EVO‑X2 64 GB + 1 TB model now costs $1,999, matching the price of the older 128 GB variant, while the 128 GB + 2 TB version rises to $3,299. The EVO‑T2S, equipped with 64 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, is discounted to $1,899 from an earlier $2,399 tag. Availability for higher‑spec Core Ultra X9 388H units remains unclear until stock details are released by GMKtec later this year.
