Technical specs for the 2027 Rivian R1 lineup remain largely unchanged. Premium R1s maintain a 329 mile range, with larger battery options extending this to 410 miles for the R1S and 420 miles for the R1T. Power starts at 533 hp and is upgradable to 655 hp.

Interior options are now named Black Mountain and Ocean Coast. Middle bench seats are exclusive to the black interior. Captain’s chairs add $1,500 to the required $2,500 Sound+Vision package, or $4,500 for the Ocean Coast interior.

Performance R1s continue to feature the tri-motor powertrain with 850 hp and a 371-mile range, while R1 Quads retain their existing powertrain specs. Trim options for these models include Black Mountain, Ocean Coast, and Slate Sky.

New aesthetic and functional updates include Esker silver paint, replacing LA Silver, and a new 20-inch all-season tire and wheel for the R1T to better balance on- and off-road performance.
