The release officially supports Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and later, and a Flatpak repository with step‑by‑step instructions is also provided for quick setup.

The update sharpens DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation, making it noticeably more responsive with no added latency. Server‑side CPU tweaks raise overall framerates, especially at 120 FPS or when streaming high‑resolution content like 4K. These server‑side changes mean users need not update the client app; all improvements occur in NVIDIA’s cloud.

With 2,000 games already playable, NVIDIA is adding titles such as Car Wash Simulator, Pax Autocratica, and Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo this week. GeForce NOW now gives Linux users a seamless, high‑performance gaming experience directly from the cloud.
