EK by LM TEK has launched the EK-Quantum Reflection³ Uni Distro Plate 300 D5, marking their first universal ATX distribution plate with an integrated bypass valve. The unit combines a 300ml reservoir and D5 PWM pump in a compact design that mounts to standard 120mm fan holes, eliminating the need for case-specific variants.

The $359.99 USD distribution plate works with multiple modern ATX cases including Lian Li O11D series and ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701, requiring just 130 x 80.5 x 300mm clearance. Its standout feature is the EK bypass valve, which enables complete loop draining and coolant changes without lifting or tilting the case—a persistent pain point for custom loop enthusiasts.

Technical specs include a Generation 3 D5 PWM pump rated at 30W with 1500 L/h maximum flow, 16-LED addressable D-RGB lighting, and G1/4 threaded ports on both sides. The plate follows EK-Matrix7 standards for integration with Vector water blocks and Quantum Surface radiators.

This launch addresses a genuine workflow problem in custom water cooling builds. Rather than requiring careful case positioning for maintenance, users can now drain, flush, and refill loops cleanly—a practical improvement that could influence how other manufacturers approach distribution plate design.
