Sony has released a new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach ahead of its PC launch on March 19th. The trailer, titled 'No Rain, No Rainbow', confirms the game will support NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS upscaling and frame generation technologies. This allows players with powerful hardware to enhance visual fidelity beyond the game's existing 'Very High' settings. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will also feature ray-traced reflections for surfaces like water and ambient occlusion for more realistic shadows, though these effects are not included in the previously revealed minimum system requirements. Sony states these options target players seeking to maximize visual quality.

Beyond the new visual technologies, the PC version gains significant upgrades. It will offer uncapped frame rates, expanded graphics settings, support for super-ultrawide (32:9) and ultrawide (21:9) monitors, full mouse and keyboard support with key binding, and enhanced spatial sound. Additionally, a new challenge mode called 'to the wilder' and other new content are coming to the PC edition. The game is now available for pre-purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The trailer release and confirmed features mark a major step towards the March 19th launch, providing PC gamers with a clearer picture of the enhanced experience awaiting them, though the impact on system requirements for the new effects remains uncertain.
