Death Stranding 2: On the Beach arrives on PC starting March 19, Kojima Productions announced at PlayStation's State of Play event. The sequel, set in post-apocalyptic Australia, continues the story of Sam Porter Bridges connecting survivors. The PC version, developed with Dutch studio Nixxes Software (acquired by Sony in 2021), offers significant upgrades: 4K gaming, uncapped framerates, and support for ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawidescreen (32:9) monitors.

Audio enhancements include Dolby Access, DTS Sound Unbound, and Windows Sonic. Players can use a mouse/keyboard or DualSense controller. Pre-orders begin today for $70 on Steam or Epic Games, with a $10 Digital Deluxe edition adding more in-game content.
