CannonKeys has unveiled the Wood Bakeneko65, a premium collaboration with Functional.co that elevates their existing Bakeneko65 model. The key difference lies in the bespoke wooden case and inner frame, crafted from maple, walnut, purple heart, or paduak wood, finished with Rubio Monocoat oil. Users can choose between wired or wireless PCBs, adding $10 to the base price of $380 for maple or walnut inner cases, or $410 for the premium woods.

This isn't a completely new design but a high-end customization of an affordable kit, targeting enthusiasts seeking unique aesthetics. The Wood Bakeneko65 remains a group buy on the CannonKeys site, not yet formally launched.
