ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Phantom Gaming Prototype Debuts with 12V-2x6 Power

ASRock finally brought its Phantom Gaming brand to the Radeon RX 9070 XT lineup, unveiling a prototype card at Computex 2026 after the series initially launched without this popular branding. The company showed off the missing piece in its graphics card portfolio, confirming rumors that Phantom Gaming variants were in development.

The prototype features a modern 12V-2x6 power input instead of the triple 8-pin connectors found on previous generations. Its cooler shroud borrows design elements from ASRock's latest Phantom Gaming motherboards built for Intel 800-series and AMD 800-series chipsets. Three fans cool a dual aluminum fin-stack heatsink, while ARGB lighting runs along the shroud edge and metal streaks cross the central fan frame. Backplate cutouts direct airflow from the third fan.

ASRock also displayed its Arc Pro B60 and B70 cards based on Intel's maxed-out "Battlemage" silicon, targeting creative professionals. The Arc Pro B70 Liquid edition includes a custom Alphacool water block with tail-facing fittings for enterprise cooling setups, while a passive version relies on rackmount chassis airflow.

The Phantom Gaming return fills a noticeable gap in ASRock's premium GPU offerings, bringing the brand's distinctive styling and updated power delivery to compete with other custom RX 9070 XT designs from AMD partners.
