The first public review of ASRock's Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi White OC has surfaced from GDM Japan, offering a hands-on look at the new flagship variant. Unlike a simple color swap, this model distinguishes itself with an integrated 2-inch LCD "Information Center" screen on the side.

That small display, controllable via ASRock's Polychrome SYNC software, can show GPU clocks, fan speeds, temperatures, or custom images and GIFs. The review unit was tested with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and ASRock's Z890 Taichi AQUA motherboard, confirming performance matches the standard gray Taichi OC.

Performance testing showed the GPU boosting to 3296 MHz, slightly above its 3.1 GHz factory rating. Like its sibling, this card uses the controversial 12V-2×6 power connector, a feature only ASRock and Sapphire have implemented among RDNA 4 board partners so far. The white model remains a Japan-exclusive promo item for now.
