Advantech has launched a new line of industrial DDR5 memory modules offering 64 GB per module and 7200 MT/s speeds, targeting the demanding needs of Edge AI deployments. The SQRAM DDR5 7200 series delivers a 12.5% performance boost over previous DDR5 6400 modules, enabling AI PCs and workstations to scale memory up to 256 GB. Key innovations include on-module Clock Driver (CKD) technology for signal integrity and Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes for protection against voltage spikes, ensuring stability in harsh outdoor environments.

Designed for mission-critical applications like transportation and smart cities, the modules operate reliably from -25°C to 95°C. A built-in SQ Manager software suite provides remote monitoring and overheat alerts. Early samples will be available in June 2026.
