Formula One has secured a 10-year contract extension for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, extending the race until at least 2037. The floodlit night circuit, featuring drivers racing along the famous Strip at speeds exceeding 200mph, made its debut in 2023 and has quickly become a cornerstone of F1's presence in the United States alongside Austin and Miami.

The event has delivered substantial returns since its inception, with a $3.2bn cumulative economic impact for Southern Nevada reported. All three races to date have sold out, with last year's three-day attendance reaching 300,000. The 2024 race alone generated $43m in state and local tax revenue while contributing more than $2m to non-profit organizations in the region.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali expressed enthusiasm for the extension, calling the event "extraordinary" and a "premier destination" for racing and entertainment. Las Vegas Grand Prix president Emily Prazer hailed the agreement as "a defining moment." The 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend will take place from November 19 to 21.
