The New York Giants have agreed to a two-year deal with free agent fullback Patrick Ricard, a source confirmed to ESPN. Ricard, 31, reunites with head coach John Harbaugh in New York after spending his entire nine-year career with the Baltimore Ravens. Known as "Pancake Pat" for his dominant blocking, Ricard has made six Pro Bowls and helped Baltimore rush for over 20,000 yards since 2019.

Ricard's absence last season due to a calf injury highlighted his importance to Baltimore's rushing attack. Without him, the Ravens averaged 126.2 yards per game, but with Ricard in the lineup, that number jumped to 173.2 yards per game, ranking first in the NFL. His 668 run block wins over seven seasons rank second among fullbacks, trailing only San Francisco's Kyle Juszczyk.

An undrafted defensive lineman from Maine in 2017, Ricard became a rare two-way player before converting exclusively to offense in 2019. He joins a growing list of ex-Ravens following Harbaugh to New York, including Isaiah Likely, Jordan Stout, and Ar'Darius Washington. Ricard's addition bolsters the Giants' offensive line and rushing attack as they reshape their roster under their new head coach.
