Defensive tackle CJ Okoye is reuniting with New York Giants coach John Harbaugh, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. The Ravens traded Okoye to the Giants on Saturday for a 2028 seventh-round pick. The 24-year-old defensive lineman played in Baltimore under Harbaugh last season and was considered on the bubble heading into roster cut-downs.

Standing 6-foot-6 and 365 pounds, Okoye recorded 15 tackles, including one for loss, in 13 games last season. The Giants, who were short on interior defensive line depth, acquired a player familiar with their coaching staff. Okoye joins fellow former Ravens players Isaiah Likely, Jordan Stout, Ar'Darius Washington, and Patrick Ricard in New York.

Earlier this week, the Giants received a 2028 seventh-round pick from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu. That additional pick allowed them to send their own selection to Baltimore for Okoye, addressing a position of need. ESPN's Jordan Raanan contributed to this report.
