Cowboys Kicker Aubrey Seeks $10M Deal

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey is pushing for a contract that would make him the NFL's highest-paid kicker, with his agent seeking a deal worth $10 million per season. The Cowboys have offered more than Kansas City's Harrison Butker's $6.4 million average, but negotiations have stalled since last season.

Aubrey, who turns 31 next month, has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three NFL seasons and holds the record for most field goals from 60 yards or more with six. Last season, he connected on 11-of-17 attempts from 50 yards or more and finished his career with 112-of-127 field goals, including a career-long 65-yarder.

The Cowboys are likely to place a second-round restricted free agent tender on Aubrey worth close to $5.8 million for 2026. If they use the right-of-first-refusal tender instead, they would receive no compensation if another team signs him. The team could also franchise tag him in 2027 to keep him off the free-agent market.
